Just moved back to my native city after living in California for a year...Humor is very important to me. I hate people who take themselves too seriously and I love positive thinking people who always look for the silver lining and humor in every situation. I consider myself a pretty open-minded individual who'll try almost anything once. I love tattoos-on both myself and others. I enjoy walking with the sun shining on my face and a slight breeze ruffling my hair.

I'm also a gamer, and play mostly RPGs (fantasy-based, such as Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, Suikoden, The Legend of Dragoon, Ar Tonelico and things of that ilk; no I haven't played any board game based RPGs but they are interesting prospects!); not really into sports games or sports in general. I'm looking into going to school very soon for Digital Entertainment and Game Art Design!

What I'm basically looking for is someone to be friends with first and foremost, then MAYBE down the line it could turn into something more. Someone who has an easy going attitude, a non-smoker, who's not into working out like a crazy person. I'm more interested in your mind, humor and quirkiness than a "hard body"...think Jim Halpert (John Krasinksi) from "The Office" (my fave show by the way lol). If you have some or a lot of the same music interests as I do, we'll get along famously. =) I love 50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's music as well as Billy Joel, Elton John, Barry Manilow, Chicago, Eagles, Hall & Oates; I also love some opera and classical music-Mozart and Vivaldi come to mind- but what I mostly listen to is rock music-varying types like soft rock, classic rock, some new stuff, metal, but my fave band is Metallica!!! I'll listen to anything that sounds like there's emotion and passion behind the voice/music.

Ok, another thing I love is eating! (Italian food is my fave, besides the obvious Puerto Rican dishes!) I love salad and veggies, but I also LOVE junk food. Burgers and fries are awesome and I love most carbs (potatoes, rice, bread) and am NOT afraid to eat them! lol So if you are an extreme health nut, we probably won't mesh well.

I'm not into materialistic things, so please don't think to impress me with money or things, unless you have an impressive collection of fantasy books or RPGs and have played FFVII and agree that it was the best one ever made lol. I also love being outdoors though and thoroughly enjoy clean fresh air and taking walks for no apparent reason, lol

Right now I'm unfortunately one of the many unemployed New Yorkers praying for a job. Guess I picked the wrong time to move back to good ol' Brooklyn, eh?

In the meantime, I'm just trying to spend as much time as possible with my family and friends (and my cat, Onyx!) and getting some fun things done such as reading, drawing and playing video games. =)

Hopefully I'll be going to school soon. Perhaps the Art Institute...

Being goofy and always quoting silly/fun movies like Disney's The Little Mermaid or Labyrinth. Oh yeah, I'm pretty good at Guitar Hero II, lol and decent at GH3 - I got 100% the first time I played "One" by Metallica...I couldn't let them down! Although admittedly it was on Easy... And I can kick everyone's ass in Singstar Amped! lol Ok, enough of touting my own horn...

I have too many of all these categories and hate leaving some out, but I'll do my best...

Books- The Chronicles of Narnia (ever since I was a wee child, lol), Interview with the Vampire, The Notebook, all of the Harry Potter books, DragonRiders of Pern, The Dark Queen, The Courtesan, The Silver Rose, The Borgia Bride, Darklost, Inkheart, Inkspell, The Liveship trilogy by Robin Hobb, The Age of Five trilogy by Trudi Canavan. Mercedes Lackey & Anne McCaffrey books; Comic Strips- The Boondocks, Get Fuzzy, and Garfield. I'll add more later when I can remember them!

Movies- Labyrinth, The Little Mermaid, Willow, Legend, The Dark Crystal, The Breakfast Club, Last of the Mohicans, When Harry Met Sally, Little City, Legends of The Fall, Lost Boys, The Last Unicorn, Dirty Dancing, Anchorman:The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Napolean Dynamite, Pretty Woman, The Three Musketeers, The Princess Bride, Nacho Libre, Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny (yes, I know, I'm a goofy dork)...just to name a few but there are way more.

Music I think I covered pretty well already, lol

Food- I LOVE food, lol, though I do have my boundaries. My faves are Italian, American (burgers and fries) and Puerto Rican (because not all spanish food is the same you know!). I like some sushi and chinese food. I HATE spicy food, but love spiced food. Yes, there is a difference. Anything with pepper, chile, jalapenos, or tabasco or any kind of hot sauce I will not touch, lol. However, almost anything flavored with adobo, sazon, garlic, onions and such is mighty fine by me! Especially the garlic, lol I'm also an avid fan of dessert in general...have a bit of a sweet tooth...

FAMILY, love & affection (serious and hopeless romantic =/), friends, yummy delicious food, my books and Tropical Citrus flavored Vitamin Water (absolutely essential, hehe).

Home and online, either playing my online RPGs or talking to my friends online. Either that or reading an intriguing book. Occasionally I'm dragged out of my house by my sister or friends, because I cannot be a complete hermit, lol.

Ok, hmm, the most private thing I'm willing to admit here is the fact that I absolutely LOVE some country music. lol But only 90's country, like Reba McEntire, Tim McGraw, Pam Tillis, Collin Raye, Travis Tritt or Sawyer Brown. lol I wasn't kidding...

...you have proper grammar skills! You don't need to be perfect, but please have a sense of what you're writing. It doesn't take much to take an extra minute to formulate proper sentences without abbreviations for words that do not need abbreviating. Oh yes, and if you have a great sense of humor, that goes a long way as well! ;)

I hate being so narrow minded about this...but I'm not looking to befriend/date anyone with a "thuggish" or "ghetto" mentality. No, I do NOT like rap/hip-hop music or the whole attire and attitude/lifestyle that goes along with it. Also, anyone younger or way older -please, if you can be my father or grandfather- I will NOT be interested. Sorry, it's just not for me.
