I am a college grad. I work at an animal shelter. I love it, and I love every animal that comes through the doors. However, it has brutally damaged my already bitter view of people, particularly pet-owners. I have my own dog, my baby, my better half. I love wine, cross-stitching, reading, watching movies, hugging, trivial pursuit, sunsets, and the simple joys of life. Though I can be dramatic and tragic, I mostly tend to be easy-going and generally happy. I am occasionally cheesy and proud of it. I do love to have a good cry, but I don't wallow in self-pity. I love food and wish I were a better cook. I am fascinated by politics but will never pretend to know everything, or even a lot, about the topic. The world in general fascinates me and I feel I will never know as much about it as I'd like. My greatest desire above all else (currently) is to see the Sistine Chapel. Not for religious reasons, but for the art and beauty of it. The most life-changing thing I've learned in the last five years is that being spiritual is completely different from being religious. I now consider myself a very spiritual person. What are my beliefs? Too much to explain here. Ask me.

Pretty much what I said in my self-summary. Trying to make my pattern in the world. Deciding which of my passions will become my money-maker, no matter how few numbers there are after the dollar sign. Figuring out how to get my sister and parents closer to me so we can start up that dog shelter we've been talking about. In general, just trying to see/experience as much of the world as I can!

Missing my sister! I'm a singer. Singing is one of the few things I'm sure I'm good at. The only reason I dropped Vocal Performance as my major was because the competition took the fun out of it for me. Music will just have to be a hobby for me.

My eyes. They're supposedly intimidating and expressive, and here's a new one: disarming. They also tend to mistake my quiet/watchful demeanor to be passive/uninterested, though it's really just that I love watching people. Voices, faces, gestures, and words fascinate me.

A) I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter. And I love Terry Goodkind, and Sharon Creech, especially Walk Two Moons. And I have recently discovered Jeanette Winterson. She is a writing genius. And Dan Millman is AMAZING. Dean Koontz is always good. B) Oh, so many. I like pretty much everything, even if I recognize its lack of quality. To name a few: Pan's Labyrinth, Stranger Than Fiction, The Whole Nine Yards, The Princess Bride, Garden State, Fifth Element, Family Stone, Clue, Crash, and stupid comedies like Anchorman, Out Cold, and Knocked Up. C) I like pretty much everything under the sun, but my top three would probably be... Train, Coldplay, and Yellowcard. But really, I'm not one of those people who says they like everything and doesn't mean it. I really do. Though I won't pretend to know much, either. I just like what I hear. D) Mexican, Italian, and anything dark chocolate. Really, you name it, I'll eat it. Though I'll probably always pick something out. I'm a picker.

Now that I'm a college grad and working full time, I LOVE spending my Friday nights on my couch with a movie and my dog, though I'm not opposed to spending it with others.

I am not NEARLY as cool as I want to be. I talk to myself a lot, and sing to myself pretty much constantly, it's a subconscious thing. Namely: I'm odd. But I'd like to think I'm odd in a good way. :) Oh, and to do lists are my favorite.
